Eye Balls is a series of eight gum bichromate prints focusing on the viewers perception of eyes

I like it when things are bigger than reality. At first glance, eyes seem to be one solid color, but when one blows them up, one looks at them differently and sees more detail and color. By using Gum Bichromate printing, I got to see the different textures, patterns, and shapes build up slowly layer by layer: first burnt orange, then yellow, magenta, cyan and finally black.
